I am from Lake Erie,
from Andy's Ice Cream and Krogers
I am from the half cleaned house;
loving, caring, smells of family.
I am from the Buckeye, Snap Dragons, and apple picking
through the several rows of trees.
I'm from nut roll and brunettes
from Richard and Loretta
I'm from strong minds, and laughter
from the word no and always try your best
I'm from the blue and gold and
church every Sunday morning
I'm from Czechoslovakia, dumplings,
and pierogies.
From eating dripping popsicles,
on the deck crafted by my grandfather,
and the grounding of the QB83;
as the ashes were spread through the sky.
I am from the mantle and tables full of pictures
that will explain memories throughout the years.
